GPEC works to attract and grow quality businesses in Greater Phoenix

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) actively works to attract and grow quality businesses and advocate for the competitiveness of Greater Phoenix. As the regional economic development organization established in 1989, GPEC works with 22-member communities, Maricopa County and more than 160 private investors to accomplish its mission, and serve as a strategic partner to companies across the world as they expand or relocate.

Our suite of complimentary services range from labor and cost comparison analyses, identifying real estate options and connecting companies to key local resources to support growth in Greater Phoenix. Consistently ranked as a top national economic development organization, GPEC’s approach to connectivity extends beyond the fabric of the community.

GPEC serves the Greater Phoenix and tech community by branding the region as a growing and thriving tech community to national and international audiences. As a result, GPEC has fueled the regional economy by bringing more than 800 locates, by creating more than 144,000 jobs and has contributed a capital investment of $16.1 billion over the past 30 years. Through GPEC’s strategic branding efforts and aggressive campaigns, we reinforce the region as a place to test, launch and advance innovation.

GPEC has been a long-time supporter of #yesphx, Phoenix Startup Week, Venture Madness and the Converge tech conference. GPEC also launched the Global RISE program that supports the expansion of Greater Phoenix SaaS companies into the U.K. market.
