What we collect from visitors
We count page views in aggregate — which page was viewed, on which day, and which website linked to it — with no cookies and nothing that identifies you. We do not store your IP address, we do not create a visitor ID, and we cannot tell one visit from another. Search engine and AI crawlers are counted separately by the name they announce themselves with.
No visitor accounts, no advertising cookies, no profiles. The only cookie on the site is the sign-in session for the two people who run Gregslist. It does nothing for you, because you don’t need an account to use the site.
When you contact us or submit a listing
We keep the name and email you give us so we can follow up on your submission. We don’t share them with anyone, and we don’t add you to any list without asking.
Third parties on the page
These things can load from outside Gregslist:
Company and investor icon logos load from logo.dev. Company-page wordmarks load directly from Brandfetch when a wordmark is available. The map on a company page loads from Google Maps when there is an address to show. Sponsor links pass through a counter that records how many clicks each sponsor got each day — it records a count, not a visitor.
That’s the whole list. Nothing else is loaded from anyone else.
People listed in the directory
The people pages publish a name, title, company, and a link to a public LinkedIn profile — professional information the person has already made public.
Corrections and privacy requests go through the submit form; a person reviews every request. You can also reach Greg Head on LinkedIn.
